Terms of Service – Saberwolfstudio
By placing an order or commissioning custom work from Saberwolfstudio, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. General
Please communicate respectfully and clearly throughout the order process.
I reserve the right to decline any order or commission for any reason, including incomplete information, inappropriate requests, unrealistic deadlines, or the use of stolen or unauthorized references.
For custom work, you must provide clear and accurate references. I will not accept stolen, traced, or unapproved artwork as references.
2. Etsy Orders
All regular shop orders placed through Etsy follow the policies, shipping terms, and return conditions listed on my Etsy shop page.
3. Custom Commissions
Custom commissions may include, but are not limited to:
- Fursuits or fursuit parts
- 3D models
- Custom-made accessories or props
Commission availability is limited and not always open.
4. Payment
Payment terms will be discussed before work begins.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Full payment may be required upfront
- Larger commissions may be split into a payment plan
- Work will not begin until the agreed payment has been received
Payments are normally handled through Etsy unless another method is agreed upon in advance.
Additional Payment Terms
All commissions, custom 3D models, and 3D printing services must be paid in full before delivery, shipment, or transfer of any physical or digital product.
Digital files will not be delivered until full payment has been received.
Physical commissions will not be shipped until all outstanding balances have been paid.
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the order without transfer of ownership or usage rights.
5. Turnaround Time
Completion time depends on project size, complexity, current queue, and personal schedule.
Estimated completion dates are not guarantees, but I will always aim to be transparent and keep you updated.
Work-in-progress updates are not automatic, but you are welcome to ask for updates at reasonable times.
6. Revisions & Changes
Minor corrections after completion may be made when reasonable, such as small color or marking mistakes.
Major changes after approval or near completion, such as redesigns, added features or structural edits, may require additional fees.
7. Refunds & Cancellations
I reserve the right to cancel and refund any order or commission at any time with reasonable explanation.
If you cancel before work has started, a refund may be possible.
If work has already begun, any refund may be partial depending on time, labor, materials, and progress already invested.
Completed custom commissions are non-refundable except where required by law.
8. Ownership & Usage Rights
Physical Items
For physical custom items such as fursuits, parts, or props, ownership transfers to you after full payment has been completed.
I retain the right to use photos of completed work for portfolio display, advertising, and social media unless otherwise agreed.
You may not claim that you made the item yourself.
Digital Items
For digital commissions such as 3D models, artwork, or design files:
- I retain creator rights unless otherwise agreed in writing
- You receive personal-use rights only unless agreed on otherwise
- Files may not be resold, redistributed, traced, edited for resale, or claimed as self-made
9. Commercial Use
Any commercial use, merchandise use, resale rights, monetized content use, or business use requires written permission and an additional licensing fees
Regarding tpu bases and other fursuit making items or patterns please refer to the descriptions within the listings
10. 3D Printing Services
Saberwolfstudio may offer 3D printing services using either customer-provided files or files created by Saberwolfstudio.
By submitting a file for printing, you confirm that you have the legal right to use, print, and reproduce that file.
I reserve the right to refuse the printing of any file that:
- Violates copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
- Contains offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content
- Is technically unsuitable for printing
Print quality may vary depending on model design, material choice, printer limitations, and file quality.
Unless otherwise agreed, printed items modeled by Saberwolfstudio are supplied as physical prints only. Purchasing a printed item does not grant ownership of the original digital files unless agreed on otherwise.
11. Commercial Use & Licensing
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all digital files sold or provided by Saberwolfstudio are licensed for personal use only.
Fursuit Bases and Premades
Physical fursuit bases purchased from Saberwolfstudio may be used to create personal fursuits or premade or commision fursuits for resale.
Credit to Saberwolfstudio as the original base creator is required when showcasing, advertising, or selling work created using the base.
Digital 3D Models
The purchase of a digital 3D model does not grant commercial manufacturing rights.
You may not:
- Sell printed copies of the model
- Manufacture bases for sale
- Offer print-on-demand services using the model
- Distribute, share, trade, or resell the digital files
- Modify the files for the purpose of avoiding these restrictions
Commercial production rights may be purchased separately through a written commercial license agreement.
Patterns
Patterns may be used to create finished physical products for personal use. It’s also fine to use patterns for any pre-mades or comissions as long as credit is given
Commercial use, mass production, workshops, classes, redistribution, resale of pattern files, or inclusion in other products requires prior written permission unless otherwise stated in the individual listing.
Credit
Whenever reasonable, credit should be given as:
“Saberwolfstudio – Original Base / Pattern / Design” or in other ways as “xx pattern from Saberwolfstudio was used to make this”
12. Agreement
By placing an order with Saberwolfstudio, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms of Service.
